Last updated: April 16, 2026. These Terms govern your use of CasitaScore's website, free previews, and paid reports. They are a practical draft for an early-stage product — have an attorney review before you rely on them commercially.
The service
CasitaScore aggregates public and licensed data and uses software (including AI) to produce informational reports about ADU feasibility and neighborhood context. It is not an appraisal, engineering study, zoning determination, legal opinion, or substitute for the City of San Diego, a licensed contractor, architect, attorney, or financial advisor.
No guarantees
Data sources can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. AI-generated text may contain errors. Scores and narratives are starting points for your own due diligence, not promises of outcome, permit approval, rent, cost, or ROI.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information (including a valid email where required). You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Do not misuse the service, scrape it in violation of these terms, or attempt to disrupt our systems.
Fees
Paid reports are priced as shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. Refund policy: set your real policy here (e.g. satisfaction window) before launch.
Intellectual property
CasitaScore owns the site, branding, and report presentation. You receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use reports you lawfully obtain. Do not resell or white-label reports without our written agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CasitaScore and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if none, fifty dollars). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the minimum allowed by law.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify CasitaScore against claims arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of others' rights, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Changes and termination
We may modify these terms or stop offering features. We may suspend access for abuse or risk. If we materially reduce prepaid value, we will describe any remedy (e.g. refund) consistent with law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in San Diego County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
